Our approach

Clarity at every step.

UNDERSTAND

Start with the context.

Establish the objectives, understand the project and ask the questions that matter.

ASSESS

Work through the detail.

Examine the options and trade-offs through both a technical and a commercial lens.

PROGRESS

Make the next step clear.

Turn the discussion into practical priorities and a considered direction of travel.

Technologies

Solar PV.
Wind. Storage.

Solar photovoltaic (PV)

From a small business
to a solar farm.

Solar PV support shaped around your roof, your land and how the electricity will be used.

Commercial & industrial rooftops

Generate electricity on-site for direct supply to your business. Renewbee can help assess rooftop opportunities and compare two ownership and funding routes:

  • Developer-financed, supplied through a PPA. A developer funds and owns the installation, and your business buys the electricity under a power purchase agreement (PPA), on agreed terms.
  • Business-financed, directly owned. Your commercial or industrial business funds and owns the installation and uses the generation directly, with export arrangements where appropriate.

Smaller businesses

Small businesses can explore solar PV too. Renewbee can help review electricity use, roof suitability, ownership or lease arrangements, and the practical steps towards a project that fits the business.

Ground-mounted solar

Explore the development and commercial route for a solar farm, including a PPA with an electricity offtaker, a Contract for Difference (CfD) where eligible and successful in an allocation round, merchant electricity sales, or direct supply to a nearby user through a private wire.

Renewbee can help assess these options alongside grid, planning, land and stakeholder requirements, and connect the project with developers, funders and specialist advisers.

Large-scale wind

Complex projects.
Coordinated progress.

Consultancy and development management for large-scale wind projects, bringing grid, planning, land, stakeholders and project management together.

  • Grid strategy, connection interfaces and network operator engagement
  • Planning strategy and environmental assessment coordination
  • Landowner engagement, land agreements and access arrangements
  • Community, local authority and wider stakeholder coordination
  • Development programmes, risk reviews, consultant coordination and project governance
Battery energy storage systems (BESS)

Storage with a clear
development strategy.

Support for behind-the-meter and larger battery storage developments. Renewbee can help assess site opportunities, coordinate grid, planning and land workstreams, review technical and commercial assumptions, and manage specialist inputs and project decisions.

Explore standalone storage or opportunities alongside solar PV, with the development approach tailored to the site and project objectives.

Experience

Engineering foundations.
Development leadership.
